Clust-ER Health at Expo Osaka 2025: a Week to Connect Research, Innovation, and People in Healthcare
Clust-ER Health is proud to take part in Expo Osaka 2025 within the framework of Emilia-Romagna Week, scheduled from 21 to 26 September 2025: a unique opportunity to showcase internationally the regional excellence in the field of health and life sciences, and to strengthen ties with Japan, creating new opportunities for global collaboration.
A Week Full of Events
The program will open with the inaugural ceremony of Emilia-Romagna Week, chaired by Michele De Pascale, President of the Region, officially marking the beginning of institutional and scientific activities.
Several highlights are scheduled throughout the week. Among them, the event on precision medicine organized in collaboration with the University of Bologna, the University of Tsukuba, and IRCCS Sant’Orsola, during which a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed to strengthen joint research.
Great anticipation also surrounds “Health Futures: Bold Ideas, Real People”, an original format where five Italian innovators will share—through a symbolic object—their challenges and solutions designed to improve people’s lives. The event will be broadcast live.

In these days of connections and meetings, we have dedicated an entire day to an international networking event: Connecting Regional Life Sciences Ecosystems, an opportunity for exchange with Japanese stakeholders focused on four key areas:

The program will continue with a visit to the Kobe Biomedical District, one of the world’s leading hubs for biomedical innovation, and with the PhD students’ project exhibition, giving visibility and space to young researchers from Emilia-Romagna universities.
