Clust-ER Health at the HealthTech Investor Summit 2025
From December 8 to 10, 2025, Clust-ER Health participated in the HealthTech Investor Summit 2025, held in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Organized by Biovia, the summit is Europe’s premier event for startups, scale-ups, and investors in the healthtech, medtech, and digital health sectors. It offered a unique platform to showcase emerging technologies and facilitate direct dialogue between innovators and investors, generating concrete opportunities for collaboration and discussion on the sector’s challenges and future prospects.

As the official Knowledge Partner, Clust-ER Health contributed its expertise in the HealthTech ecosystem by coordinating and supporting the national pre-selection phase of pitching, in collaboration with BioPmed (Piemonte), Campania Bioscience (Campania), and the Life Sciences Cluster Friuli Venezia Giulia. The initiative had a dual objective: to drive innovation and foster dialogue between startups, investors, and European stakeholders, while emphasizing strategies crucial for accelerating the development and scalability of digital health solutions.

Interregional Investment Portfolio: The Biocat Focus Group
During HIS 2025, Clust-ER Health engaged with other European clusters and a broad audience of innovators, stakeholders, and investors to discuss the key challenges still limiting the adoption and scalability of digital solutions, and how the creation of an interregional investment portfolio could provide concrete support for scaling these innovations. In this context, the Focus Group organized by Biocat, in which Clust-ER Health participated as a partner in the InnoMedCatalyst project, offered an opportunity to share practical experiences and explore best practices for supporting innovators.

Key insights from the discussions included critical issues such as regulatory frameworks, data access, clinical validation, and direct implementation within healthcare systems. Particular attention was given to the development of cross-border investment portfolios—essential tools for accelerating the growth and scalability of digital solutions in personalized and precision medicine, with a direct impact on patients across Europe.
HIS 2025 reaffirmed its role as a platform that connects entrepreneurs and investors, fosters tangible synergies, inspires and educates on emerging sector trends, and supports the growth of the European digital health ecosystem. Clust-ER Health extends its gratitude to Biovia for organizing the summit, to Biocat for the Focus Group, and to all European partners and panelists who contributed to fostering a constructive and action-oriented interregional dialogue.
