An Opportunity for Startups: HealthTech Investor Summit 2024

From December 9 to 11, the picturesque setting of Bruges hosted the HealthTech Investor Summit 2024, a landmark event for the healthcare innovation and investment sector at both European and international levels.

The participation of over 460 experts and professionals from 27 countries, including 97 European healthtech startups, made the event a unique opportunity to strengthen the innovation ecosystem and build strategic relationships with key players in the healthcare landscape.

Highlights for Clust-ER Health

• Connection Between Innovators and Investors:
  During two intensive days, we conducted numerous one-to-one meetings with investors from all over Europe and beyond. These meetings were a crucial moment to present our regional portfolio of startups and, above all, to explore new opportunities for growth and investment for our startups.
• Networking Among European Clusters:
  During the cluster networking session organized by MEDVIA, participating clusters engaged in dialogue and shared experiences to promote interconnection among regional ecosystems. This moment also allowed us at Clust-ER Health to strengthen existing partnerships and explore new ones, all oriented toward innovation and collaboration.
• Thematic Insights:
  The conferences addressed key topics such as patient-centered innovation, emerging trends in healthtech investment, and support for the growth of sector startups. Listening to patients’ stories made us reflect and learn to move beyond our biases. Their stories taught us that innovation can tangibly change someone’s life. This was the greatest lesson we took away.
