SMART HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES in medical diagnostic and treatment FORUM

The SMART HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES in medical diagnostic and treatment FORUM is an event that will bring together various gamechangers determined to make systemic improvements in healthcare.

Between 7 and 9 February 2023, in Iasi, Romania, 3 full days of activities such as round tables, debates, round tables on project generation, site visits will be held in order to improve collaboration, exchange know-how and facilitate the internationalization of medical enterprises.

A key session of the forum will be dedicated to a European pitching competition for start-ups and health technology and medtech companies in the presence of hospital executives, medical specialists, testing clients and potential investors.

Iasi is known as one of the fastest growing technology hubs in Europe, as it hosts a highly skilled IT community and healthcare and medical technology companies primarily active in digital health, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals.

The Forum is organized within the framework of the MEDIC-NEST project and represents an opportunity to implement a COSME ClusterXchange scheme and to strengthen cooperation between European clusters and their members in the field of precision medicine, in which Clust-ER Health will also participate.

Contributions for participation

The MEDIC NEST budget can cover financial assistance to visiting organisations as a lump sum, defined as a global amount deemed to contribute to partially covering travel expenses. According to the annex to the CxC quality manual (Annex), a flat rate of EUR 280 is indicated for Romania for a 3-working day programme.

Networking lunches and dinners will be organized, so the costs to be covered by the lump sum will be only travel and accommodation. Details about the hotels are mentioned inside the travel kit.

This lump sum may be used to:

  • Clusters or similar corporate network organizations;
  • Growth support organizations (technology center, research institute, fab-lab, [digital] innovation hub, incubator and accelerator) that is a member of the cluster; or
  • A small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) member of the cluster.
